Destinations are so fleeting, like a heart stopping beating as a conversation has run dry. Eyes still locked in contact, waiting for some kind of fall-back then forget about yourselves once again. But where are you going? Do you know where you are going? Do you know what's out there waiting for you? Dying fast, but lingering too. Expectations worth repeating. Lost all you were scared of losing and left the rest to rot in the yard. Everyone's so goddamn crazy. They've bought the world and they'll call us lazy, but can't pretend to care when you don't, no no. And you know it's not the first time or the last that you'll sit and wait for things that hurt to pass. And every day spent in between will slowly give away at the seams.
